ora walk-a-jogathon

ORA WALK-A-JOGATHON/FAMILY DAY/FUNFAIR was on the 12th of may 2007!!! it was a LONG time ago, but i only found time to blog about it TODAY! so... here goes. (:

reached school at 7! walked to the netball courts where i was supposed to meet my fellow 205 walk-a-joggers (hey cool! i invented YET ANOTHER new word!)! but guess wad? there were no 205ers to be found... only ri and rjc walk-a-joggers (a few of them), and even fewer rgs walk-a-joggers. haha. so i just stood there for about 1min, then more ri guys came in (through the back gate there...). hahaha and yea, some of them were seriously weird.

like there was one group walking in, then one guy was saying very loudly "wow, my first step into rgs! my first breath in rgs! the first girl i see in rgs! (the whole group of them looks at me.) -ooo, not bad! (i glare back. hah.) (then they continue walking past me, and the weird guy continues...) the first thing i touch in rgs! (touches the concrete wall. i almost laughed.) the first person i play a prank on in rgs! (okay now THIS is HILARIOUS. he turns around, moves to his friend who is nearest to my side of the corridor, does some weird hand action in front of his friend's face, then he collides into the concrete pillar in front of me. and this time i SERIOUSLY had to control myself from bursting out with laughter!!! it was SO FUNNY!!!)" xP

hahas. then eunice came! xD hahas she was the only one from her class as well, so we both just started chatting. then more sec 2s arrived and so we moved to the crowd. haha but i was still the only 205 walk-a-jogger! lol... then i saw berenice!!! haha. and shortly after that, my fellow 205 walk-a-joggers arrived! lol.

yup, so the guestofhonours arrived, we sang the rgs school song, followed by the ri/rjc school song. :D then, the guestofhonour flagged us off, and bere, me and the rest of the 205 walk-a-joggers linked arms and ran round the track together! and we were so fast! plus, we were the first runners! we were leading the pack! HAH. (x

after one round around the track, we had to jog out of school and one round around the whole orange grove place. 2km. i ran/jogged/walked with bere, jonat and hanis!!! (: we were leading the pack! yea, and boy were we FAST! only 2 rjc guys beat us kay! haha.

yea. and the 4 of us were singing and laughing the whole time! we sang... 'the spongebob squarepants theme song', 'keep on running', and like a gazillion other songs! HEH. the other runners and the 'traffic wardens' were all smiling at us. i know, our singing is NICE. :D hahaha.

after the run, i ran to the ora booth in the canteen and got my stuff from mum. then i ran to the ks chee to change and get ready for the gym performances (which were hourly)! so i changed to the halter top and nice, flowy pants (thank you limjie and stacey) and got my hair tied really nicely by limjie (again, thanks limjie- and gladys for the excessive amount of glitter spray)!!! hah. and went off publicising for the gym performances!

it was so fun! i went with so many different ppl at different times! i went with cailyn, wenjun, angela, joanna, amanda, stacey, and just so many ppl! haha. and we had to literally BEG ppl to buy tickets! like follow them around and all. and the most famous line is "i have no tickets!" then we'll go, "we accept cash too!" and they'll say "but i have no money also!" and we'll point to their OVER-FLOWING-WITH-CASH wallets and go "er-hem...". xD it was SO FUNNY! and when i went with stace, we were like, "support gym and we'll stunt for you!!! *smiles*" hahaha. and we got to do cartwheels down the walkway leading from the foyer to the hall! it was fun. (:

so when it was 5min to showtimes, we went back to the ks chee. performances were SUPER FUN! (x heh. but after every show, i would rush back down to the canteen, grab a basket full of jellybeans, cookies and what-nots from the ora booth where mum was. and i found bere, jo, claire, vivien, and so many other ppl to help me sell those stuff. (thanks you guys!) so we basically walked around the whole school selling stuff. and we sold ALOT of stuff!!! heehee. and we've concluded. ri/rjc guys are just- (i can't say it here. hehe. but it's not THAT bad.)... when we asked this group of ri trackers sittin' near the netball courts to buy our stuff, they were like "we buy 5packets, you give us your numbers. how about that?" then we were like "how about you buy everything, and we give you the first number of our numbers?!" 9!!! hahaha. but in the end, we got them to buy more than 5packets, and our numbers were still secret. i know, we rock. :D

yes, and that's how my day was. switching from selling stuff for the ora booth, to selling gym tickets, to stunting (with stace) and advertising for gym, to performing, to visiting all my other friends' (whom i promised to buy stuff from) stalls!!! it was EXHAUSTING but GREAT FUN!!! ora 2007 was a success!!! (:

bookday

yesterday was RAFFLES BOOKDAY!!! (: 205 was selected as one of the finalists on wednesday, so we rehearsed like crazy for yesterday's performance in the hall. haha and guess wad?! we came in 1st runners-up!!! whoohoo! xP

during recess, we did the DRAMATIC SCENE in the canteen that some BRILLIANT PERSON thought of. xD heh. we marched into the canteen with our bamboo poles, veggie costumes, black shirt and pants, and (for the dancers) cool hiphop clothes! oh yea, and we all held male celebrity photos printed on A4 size paper. (:

so yea, we marched to the middle of the canteen, then cheryl, irina, tiff and i shouted "everybody listen up!" (and it seriously worked! EVERYONE stopped to look at our class! haha.) then the whole class went: "205 is BOYPROOF!" *crumples photo of male celebrity, throws it on the floor, does a cool pose* "ARE YOU?!" (x

oh mann, SO COOL right?!?!?! it was totally awesome. not to mention LOADS of fun! hahas.

the performance! although the narrator's mike had no battery (so she couldn't read the short introduction), and my cap hit the mic (which was not supposed to be there when the dancers- irina, hanis, christine and i -were doing our COOL hiphop, protest-y dance) when we did the body swerve thingy, and the broccoli hat we took SO LONG to construct (until it was perfect) was on the wrong side of the stage where tiff was backstage (so it did not have its chance to come onstage), and my BELOVED cd cover was broken, we still got 1st runners-up people!!! (:

so, thank you tiff and amanda for your GREAT ACTING!!! hanis, christine, irina (and myself!) for your WONDERFUL AWESOME BRILLIANT PERFECTLY-SYNCHRO dancing!!! the ADORABLE ppl in your veggie costumes!!! the PROTESTORS for their PROtest-yness!!! the POLICE ppl with your COOL police shields and POLICE-ness!!! the backstage ppl for moving the props around so quickly and being the BEST BACKSTAGE CREW ever!!! iz and cheryl for all your continuous YELLING and SCREAMING and PULLING YOUR HAIRS OUT!!! and iz for your LOVELY "205 is boyproof! are you?" muffins!!! (they were really yummy!) :D

sorry and thank you to all those ppl i FACE-PAINTED (with my fingers which later got "vandalised") with the stinky black, green and brown face paint!!! haha think of it this way, (like one of my good friends said), many guys would KILL to be in your position!!! (x HAHAHA. thanks to the judges, teachers (especially MS ONG and MS LIM!!!), audience, 105 for all your wonderful support! xD

yup. haha woah i thanked SO MANY ppl just for one simple school event like bookday! can you imagine the NEVER-ENDING list i'd have to read out when i actually receive my MTV music award/grammy award/oscar award/nobel peace prize?! HAHA. (:

last wednesday

last wednesday, 9th may 2007, jiahe, iz, iva, jiaming and i went out after math paper!!! (x wait no. actually most of the class stayed back for book day preparation... but so happens that the 5 of us stayed back the latest. so we decided to go out after that!

haha i had the most fun time with the crazy bunch. lols am i that funny? jiahe said i was... and they were all laughing at almost everything i said non-stop! HAHA. xP we bought famous amos cookies and went to coffee bean at taka to sit and rest and eat and drink and chat. :D

at coffee bean we decided to take totally random photos... like SERIOUSLY random. (: i'll post them another day when i'm free kay guys? hmms, yup so basically after that we just WALKED around. we WALKED. WALKED. WALKED. WALKED somemore. WALKED even more. and just WALKED loads more. xD (heh. my vocab is seriously good right?!)

then we went to cineleisure to take neoprints! hahaha we purposely did BIMB poses so jiaming would look bimb! yea and all the neoprints turned out to be SUPER SUPER SUPER bimb! pink and all!!! hahas. but i had SO much fun! thanks guys!!! :D

back to blogging

HEY i'm back! hahaha. back from more than a week of SERIOUS mugging and NO going online!!! cool huh?! and i decided to do all that by myself! hahas. i'm AMAZED i'm still alive!!! (:

yes so MANY MANY things happened while i wasn't blogging. so many funny stuff too! i had to resist the temptation to switch on my beloved computer... heh. xP yup so now i shall try (as best as i can) to recall what stuff went on while i was UNblogging!!! lol. :D

the phantom of the opera! went to watch the phantom of the opera for the THIRD and FINAL time (this season) last week at the esplanade! haha, yea i know, i must be mad. (x it was again, REALLY good. but i felt the singing and everything was BEST the first time... heh. andandand when i went to watch it last week for the last time, the famous "boat scene" where the phantom and christine sing the MAIN SONG "the phantom of the opera", THE BOAT DIDN'T WORK!!! HAHAHA. oh mann it was super funny but really sad! xP like, it was supposed to be very DRAMATIC- what with the kneedeep "fog" and all- but they had to WALK out! hahas. thank goodness the boat worked in the last scene! ohohoh, and mum bought me a PRIMADONNA shirt! lols. xD

i just discovered my hidden talent! CRAPPING IN PHILOSOPHY!!! (: haha. amanduh is my equally-crazy philoDUO!!! (x heh. and together, we're UNBEATABLE! HAHAHA.

oh yea, and recently i've formed many CRAZY groups (not cliques) with 205 ppl! heh. like, theSHUAIfive (afiqah, clairemok, hanis, jonat, me!), theTHREETARDEDree- retardedthree spelt in a WRONG way- (clairemok, hanis, me! aka term2 TABLEMATES!), joNAT (JO and me!), philoDUOs (amanduh and me!)!!! hahaha. it's SUPER FUN! (:

and once again, THY shall proclaim, I LOVE MY TABLEMATES!!! xD hahaha. we had another SUPERSUPER funny lit lesson last week! due to the amazing- not to mention CONTAGIOUS- sense of humor of theTHREETARDEDree!!! and the class, of course. :D lol. ms ong introduced us to another shakespearean sonnet, "my mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun":

although most of the shakespear-fans of 205 immediately stopped their liking for thee almighty poet (read and you'll know why), we REALLY REALLY enjoyed ourselves poking fun at erm, the HIDDEN MEANINGS and MESSAGES of the sonnet. heehee. xP lit is <3!!!

for art last lesson, we did PHOTOSHOP! it was really really cool. hahas... jo became the next hitler, lena over-enlarged her - (thy shall not say), alifya became overly-obsessed with her eyes, hanis had afro hair, afiqah went from bald to too-much-hair, and me, haha i became blurred and went RETRO!!! (: HAHA.

but the fun didn't stop there. when all of us finished photoshop-ing our pretty faces, we turned on the MACS and camwhored again!!! LOL. then we played songs and sang along. thenthenthen, jo, hanis, afiqah and amanduh went to my blog and played the super cute HIPPO-SINGING-THELIONKINGSONG"the lion sleeps tonight"-AND-DOG-DANCING video!!! and guess what?! the WHOLE bunch of us gathered round, watched the video afew times, and started singing and dancing along! heh. yea we sang like the hippo and imitated the dog's dance movements!!! SO FUN! haha. we decided to make it into a class dance-song!!! :D

2.4!!! nicole (kidman! haha) and i paced and encouraged each other all the way! and we BOTH got an A! whoo-hoo! hey nicole, let's hope we can run together again next year! hahas. oh yes, and THANK YOU nicole, alifya, farah, wen, jonat, yunrui, rebecca, squek, hannah, vidya (aka "hot bod"), rachel, and EVERYONE ELSE who encouraged me during my 2.4 run!!! love you guys!!! (x

last chinese lesson with chenlaoshi!!! we had our final lesson with chenlaoshi on thursday (i think)... it was pretty slack cuz she let us read chinese newspaper for about half an hour, then we went through corrections, then she gave us farewell prezzies (like MERCI CHOCOLATES!), we all took class photos and chinese group photos, and it was a final goodbye. haha. clairebear and i had SO MUCH FUN! cuz clairebear forgot to bring her chinese newspaper, she shared with me. we both read the article about the teenager and her friends trapped in the canal.

then we decided to take some photos with my hp. when we took a photo, the hp camera went "ka-chink!" or something loud like that! it was so funny cuz we both started giggling and looked around to see if anyone heard! haha. everyone seemed so engrossed in their own stuff that no one heard! lol so we took more really random shots. and we got jo to take with us too! and we took one with wanting in the background! hahaha. it was super fun! :P

and... here is a SPECIAL SHOUT-OUT to my VERY BESTEST BESTIE IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD, BERRYNICE BESTIE!!! (: HEY BERENICE, HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY!!! HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE YET ANOTHER YEAR OLDER?! cle skit

CLE SKIT!!! hahaha. my group presented our cle skit today! (:

it was SUPERSUPERSUPER funny! cheryl, clairemok, hanis, wanting, zhangwei... you guys ROCKED! heh. oh mann we made EVERYONE laugh! even ms ong and mr jt! hahaha... xD

i was hanis' voice over, clairemok was wanting's voice over, and cheryl was zhangwei's voice over! and i was ms lim (english), mrs choo (maths), and mr singh (physics)!!! LOL. and we "quoted" and imitated their famous lines and actions! hahaha. hope i don't get sued! (x

for english, i walked in (in the weird walking thing clairemok taught me to do), and sat on the table! hahaha. for math, i wrote "love is POWERFUL" on the whiteboard, then asked "now where's that wonderful duster of mine?". lols, sound familiar??? xP and for physics, i gave out the "physics papers" and asked "more time?". HAHAHA oh mann it was super funny i was TRYING NOT TO LAUGH!!! hehe. (:
